Responsibilities

Monitor and troubleshoot network/system issues, resolving incidents efficiently
Identify alert patterns and develop automation to reduce recurring issues
Generate reports on uptime, bandwidth, and system performance
Provide direct customer support as needed
Assist with network upgrades, security patches, and configuration improvements
Document troubleshooting steps, procedures, and best practices
Identify and mitigate network/system security risks
Implement, maintain, and repair routing, switching, firewalls, and remote access

Required

3-5+ years of experience in a NOC, network administration, or IT support role
Strong knowledge of networking, troubleshooting, and security best practices
Hands-on experience with Networking Equipment: Routers, switches, firewalls (Sophos, Aruba, Ruckus, Ubiquiti, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Protocols & Services: BGP, OSPF, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP
Hands-on experience with Monitoring Tools: RMM/MDM/NMM (NinjaOne, SolarWinds, LionGard, or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with Cloud & Virtualization: Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V, VMware
Excellent communication skills
Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
Desire and ability to learn new technology
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional departments
A reliable computer (at least with an i5 processor), a stable high-speed internet connection and back up for both
A quiet, cozy workspace to handle calls and chats like a pro
Flexible with work schedule

Preferred

CompTIA Network+, Security+
Sophos Firewall Engineer, Fortinet NSE or equivalent security certification
