ASM Global is the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, and they are seeking a Production A/V Technician for the Caesars Superdome and Smoothie King Center. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining broadcast, audio, lighting, and video equipment for various events throughout the year.

Responsibilities

Setup, operation, breakdown, inventory, and maintenance broadcast, audio, lighting, and video equipment needs for over 200 events per year
New Orleans Saints and Pelicans game day broadcast, Concert & Special Events A/V requirements
Assumes assigned production role and responsibilities as required
Understands and responds to client needs
Communicates in a friendly, respectful, and understandable manner
Demonstrated communication, organization, and customer service skills
Operate equipment requirements for successful event production
Provide technical support throughout events as assigned
Work on special projects
All other duties as assigned

Qualification

Broadcast productionA/V equipmentTechnical DegreeCertificationCustomer service skillsCommunication skills

Required

Must successfully pass a criminal background check
Must be at least 18 years of age
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
High School Diploma or equivalent
Five (5) years of experience in a related field
Must have a working knowledge of broadcast production, audio, video, lighting, and general A/V equipment
Able to operate machines such as scissor and bucket lifts, and able to work at heights over 50 ft
Must be able to lift and push a minimum of fifty (50) pounds and spend long periods on your feet

Preferred

Technical Degree or certification preferred
Experience in broadcast production and A/V equipment for assigned responsibilities
