They are seeking an experienced Picture Framer who will perform meticulous preservation framing and assist customers in designing frames, while working collaboratively with the staff.

Responsibilities
Perform meticulous preservation framing
Design framing with customers
Use a computerized mat cutter
Cut moulding (wood or metal)
Mounting, glass, acrylic cutting
Specialties in shadow box, stretching and stitching of textiles or canvas paintings, fabric wrapping, mirror framing, and all preservation techniques
Work in a cooperative, collaborative environment with current staff
Qualification
Required
Experience required in a custom framing business
Basic math skills are essential
Good sales and design skills are important
Ability to work in a cooperative, collaborative environment
Experience in all aspects of custom framing and machine maintenance
Ability to use a computerized mat cutter
Ability to cut moulding (wood or metal)
Ability to mount, cut glass, and acrylic
Experience with shadow box specialties
Ability to stretch and stitch textiles or canvas paintings
Ability to fabric wrap and frame mirrors
Knowledge of all preservation techniques
