They are seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting to lead the transition from IFRS to US GAAP and ensure compliance with accounting standards while managing a team and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Reporting to Global Finance Leader of Group Consolidation & Reporting
Lead and manage the transition from IFRS to US GAAP, including policy development and implementation
Analyze and adjust existing IFRS processes
Deliver internal training and communication on US GAAP
Continuously assess and improve group accounting policies for US GAAP compliance
Monitor, interpret, and implement new accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842)
Prepare and review SEC-compliant financial statements (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
Review and suggest accounting treatments for key projects, acquisitions & other organization-impactful projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors on technical accounting matters

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
Must have proper US work authorization
10+ years of related accounting experience ideally in a similar industry or 8+ years of public accounting / consulting experience
Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting
Experience in publicly listed companies and SOX compliance
Strong analytical and communication skills
Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented work style
Fluent in English

Preferred

Advanced Degree & CPA License (active or inactive)
Big 4 experience strongly desired
Additional languages are a plus
