Higher Education

Responsibilities

Manage grading for formative assignments per cohort, including written work, code, workbooks, and drafts
Apply established rubrics to assess submissions and deliver constructive, individualized feedback that promotes mastery and engagement
Validate and supplement AI-assisted grading outputs, flagging concerns and ensuring accuracy in alignment with academic standards
Monitor and document student progress, resubmissions, and mastery indicators using the learning management system (LMS) and assessment tracking tools
Maintain accurate records of feedback interactions to support academic reporting, program evaluation, and accreditation compliance
Collaborate with instructional team members to identify patterns in student performance and inform timely academic interventions
Partner with Course Mentors to coordinate feedback cycles, reinforce instructional goals, and avoid redundancy in academic communication
Participate in team meetings and calibration sessions to ensure consistency, equity, and clarity in assessment practices

Required

Associate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Education, or a related field) and/or Industry validate certificates
Experience with assessment or feedback in an academic or training environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume grading with consistency and accuracy
Comfort with AI-assisted tools, digital grading systems, and LMS platforms
Clear, constructive written communication skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience in online education models
Familiarity with formative assessment strategies and feedback for learning
Experience with programming languages or technical content (if applicable to course subject)
Prior work in an instructional or curriculum support role
