Responsibilities
Design and implement modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services
Gather requirements with clients and translate them into scalable, reliable architectures
Build ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines (e.g., Data Factory, notebooks, ADLS, Databricks, Logic Apps)
Write clean, reusable SQL and Python, and help others understand it
Troubleshoot data issues with a focus on performance, scalability, and quality
Contribute to internal templates, standards, and documentation; mentor teammates
Qualification
Required
5+ years hands-on data engineering experience (Microsoft ecosystem strongly preferred)
Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric
Strong experience with Azure data services (e.g., ADF, ADLS, Databricks, Synapse, Azure SQL)
Advanced SQL plus strong data modelling skills (e.g., star schemas)
Strong Python skills for data pipelines/notebooks and ability to explain your approach
Experience integrating APIs/JSON and working with modern data architecture concepts (lakehouse/medallion)
