Customer satisfaction in all aspects of the job

Regular Preventive Maintenance
Regular upgrades as deemed by Leica Microsystems technical staff
A clear advocate for the customer (internal and external) and a steward for the company
Qualification
Required
associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, biological science or military equivalent
1 year of computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite, Windows base networking) as well as Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Minimum 3 years of troubleshooting skills and ability to use documentation for the purposes of troubleshooting
Local travel is required for this role daily
Ability to travel overnight 40‐50% of the time
A valid passport or equivalent for travel into Europe
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Preferred
2 + years of prior field service experience in related field is preferred or military equivalent
Bachelor's degree in science discipline or type of engineering degree
Inventory Management, including but not limited to cycle counts updating car stock and returning aging inventory
