Tanner Health is seeking a Heating Air Conditioning Technician to perform engineering duties in compliance with hospital policies. The role involves maintenance and installation of HVAC-R systems, along with various responsibilities related to plumbing and electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering duties in accordance with hospital policy and procedure

Proficient in all areas of HVAC-R maintenance and installation

Perform steam, water, control air and refrigerant piping, as well as all kinds of duct work installation and repair

Perform test and balance on a/c systems (air volumes in and out)

Perform routine tests; fire alarm, sprinkler drop tests, Emergency generator load test, emergency battery lighting test, line isolation test and new equipment inspections

Other work will include a variety of different tasks requiring knowledge in plumbing, electrical and building maintenance

Required

High School Diploma or GED

Five years of related experience

Driver's License

Refrigerant Trans. Rec. Cert

Minimum 5 years of HVAC-R maintenance and installation, or three years mechanical and building maintenance and certifications in Air Conditioning Technology

Must be legally able to drive in the State of Georgia. Subject to a motor vehicle driving record review

Ability to read safety rules instructions in the use and maintenance of tools and equipment, ability to read and interpret written instructions (Work Orders)

Ability to speak clearly and distinctly primarily to convey problems and work status to others

Ability to summarize work progress in work order form, write for content more important than grammatical correctness
