Responsibilities

Handling of metal according to the standardized process by the assigned department

Ensure quality in the process including verification of the part, quantities, quality, finish, and the correct length of the metal

Pushing/moving of buggies of metal

Qualification

Required

Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace

Basic computer skills for data entry

Self-motivated, safety-focused, and a team player

Willingness to wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, cut-resistant sleeves, steel-toe boots with met guard)

Must be able to maintain departmental production and quality standards with little supervision

Teamwork is essential, must be able to work closely and effectively communicate with coworkers

Must be able to make simple mathematical calculations and learn to complete a packing report
