Responsibilities

Provide legal advice on insurance coverage matters and policy interpretation

Represent clients in litigation

Analyze complex insurance policies and determine coverage obligations

Defend clients against bad faith claims

Participate in class action lawsuits involving insurance issues

Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant case law and statutes

Collaborate with insurance adjusters and claims professionals to resolve disputes effectively

Required

3+ years of insurance coverage experience

Experience in areas of insurance coverage including drafting coverage opinions in one or more insurance lines (CGL, property, professional liability, cyber, intellectual property, etc.)

Experience in either or both third-party or first-party claims

Coverage analysis and writing experience

Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions required

Licensed in New Jersey
