Responsibilities

Responsible for recommendations and execution of procedures involving shipping, receiving inventory and all aspects of warehouse procedures, including communication with purchasing and sales

Support and enforce safety programs and guidelines

Select, train, direct and motivate employees

Appraise performance and recommend salary actions

Direct warehouse associates and delivery drivers through Lead personnel

Schedule and ensure accurate receiving and put away of stock

Ensure customer orders are pulled and processed for delivery and shipping

Ensure delivery trucks are safely and accurately loaded

Ensure drivers demonstrate outstanding customer service and safe working and driving habits

Ensure all DOT rules and regulations are strictly enforced

Responsible for maintaining safe working conditions in warehouse, including safe storage of hazardous products
