Responsibilities
Maintain integration of supplier provided 3d drawings and integrate into a plant layout using scanned point cloud data to identify interferences and safety clearance concerns
Oversee timely and organized submission of all 3d CAD drawings on the ACC provided to Client by suppliers
Design in 3d carriers and conveyor equipment as required for program review
This individual will report to the Client Project Manager
Qualification
Required
5+ years of 3d CAD design in automotive manufacturing applications
In-depth understanding of all conveyor and automotive product carrier design
Experience with utilizing 3d point cloud environments in a design workflow
Familiarity with Client assembly project standards
Self-starter capable of making accurate field observations and measurements
Ability to convert information supplied from other vendors into the overall composite plant layout
Maintain integration of supplier provided 3d drawings and integrate into a plant layout using scanned point cloud data to identify interferences and safety clearance concerns
Oversee timely and organized submission of all 3d CAD drawings on the ACC provided to Client by suppliers
Design in 3d carriers and conveyor equipment as required for program review
