Responsibilities
Lead the design and deployment of machine learning models in production environments
Work with sensitive data in SCIFs, ensuring secure, reliable solutions
Write production-ready Python code with strong software engineering practices
Apply advanced analytics to cybersecurity data (PCAP analysis, CVEs, vulnerabilities, network monitoring)
Integrate with big data frameworks (Spark, Dask, Kafka, Snowpark) and orchestrators (Airflow, Celery, Prefect)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-ready applications
Qualification
Required
4+ years of Python-based data engineering with proven ML deployments in security-sensitive environments at a professional level OR graduate of a top CS program with applied data science experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
1+ year of hands-on ML model deployment in production
Experience leading end-to-end development efforts from within a SCIF
Experience with Computer Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies and software languages
3+ years writing production-ready Python
3+ years with Python data ecosystem: pandas, numpy, sklearn, tensorflow, pytorch, matplotlib
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Git, SQL/NoSQL/Elasticsearch
Cyber analytics expertise: PCAP, CVEs, vulnerabilities, network monitoring
1+ year working with big data/streaming tools (Spark, Dask, Snowpark, Kafka) & workflow orchestration (Airflow, Celery, Prefect)
Exceptional problem-solving and ownership mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication
Active Top Secret- TS/SCI, TS, or Secret clearance required
Must be based in or near DMV area-Washington DC/Northern Virginia to access SCIFs
U.S. Citizenship required (no visa sponsorship)
