Responsibilities
Operate company-owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations
Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of farm products and materials
Perform required before-, during- and after-operation 'user maintenance' and provide required reports
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Operate all MHE or Material Handling Equipment
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be at least 23 years of age to be considered
2+ years proven experience in commercial truck driving required
Clean driving record with no major or excessive violations within previous 3 years
Must possess valid Class A CDL and Medical Card, including multi-state certification status
Must pass background check and drug test
Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles
Alert, focused, and detail oriented
Physically and mentally fit
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
Possess great physical stamina and focus during long driving shifts
Able to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc
Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
Map reading and route planning experience
An innate sense of direction
Self-starter who works well independently
Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
High level of composure and good stress management
High school diploma or GED required
