Responsibilities
Build custom scoped applications using App Engine Studio and ServiceNow scripting
Develop Service Portal widgets and UI Builder components with reusable, scalable design
Implement REST API integrations and leverage Flow Designer for automation
Work with Now Assist (ServiceNow's AI capabilities) or ramp up quickly
Write complex JavaScript on demand, including advanced patterns for performance and reliability
Troubleshoot and optimize code for Internet-facing apps at scale
Qualification
Required
12+ years ServiceNow development experience (custom development, not admin/config)
Strong experience with Custom Scoped App development
Strong experience with Service Portal & UI Builder (custom widgets/components)
Strong experience with REST API integrations & Flow Designer automation
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), AngularJS, and React
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and performance considerations
Hands-on experience with development tools (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances)
