Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, and maintain OMEGAMON monitoring products on IBM z/OS systems
Ensure monitoring agents are correctly installed and operational across multiple z/OS LPARs
Configure systems to deliver accurate and comprehensive Sysplex-level usage and performance metrics
Administer, customize, and manage the E3270UI sessions, tailoring views and access for individual users and teams
Monitor system health and proactively identify performance or availability issues
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OMEGAMON agents, data collection, and user interfaces
Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and performance teams to support enterprise monitoring and capacity planning initiatives
Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes

Required

Experience administering IBM z/OS environments
Experience with IBM OMEGAMON monitoring tools
Strong understanding of z/OS LPARs and Sysplex environments
