Responsibilities

Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information

Enforce site rules by warning or reporting individuals violating regulations (e.g., loitering, smoking, carrying prohibited items)

Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify safety and security risks

Respond to alarms, emergency calls, and incidents involving unauthorized individuals, injuries, or fires

Notify appropriate emergency services (police, fire department, EMS) when necessary

Accurately complete and submit reports, records, and incident documentation in a timely manner

Perform other duties as assigned by the security manager

Qualification

Iowa Security LicenseCustomer ServiceBi-lingualEnglish proficiency

Required

Must be at least 21 years of age

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

Able to acquire and maintain a valid Iowa Security License, including state accredited training requirements

Valid Driver's License

Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

Able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
