Responsibilities

Develop and customize NetSuite financial modules to meet organizational requirements, utilizing SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and other scripting tools
Design and implement integrations between NetSuite and external systems such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, and other enterprise applications using RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and ETL processes
Build scalable solution architectures that incorporate Service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and cloud security principles on platforms like AWS and Azure
Manage system design tasks including system hardening, load balancing, system architecture planning, and virtualization using VMware, ESXi, Kubernetes, and Docker containers
Conduct vulnerability assessments, system hardening efforts, and threat intelligence analysis to ensure robust information security across all financial systems
Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing Jenkins, Git, DevOps practices, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Shell Scripting
Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to optimize network configurations including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, GPOs, and Cisco Meraki devices for secure connectivity
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of complex issues related to SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server), NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), and operating systems (Windows/Linux)
Participate in SDLC processes ensuring system design aligns with business needs while adhering to best practices in Agile methodologies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field; advanced certifications preferred
Proven experience developing within the NetSuite platform with strong knowledge of SuiteScript (JavaScript), SuiteFlow workflows, and RESTful API integrations
Extensive background in solution architecture involving cloud services (AWS/Azure), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and system hardening/security protocols
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java or Ruby on Rails; experience with scripting for automation is highly desirable
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows/Linux), network protocols (DNS/DHCP/VPN), firewalls, load balancing solutions, and cybersecurity best practices
Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines; version control systems like Git; DevOps practices; microservices architecture; GPO management; SQL database management (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle)
Knowledge of web services standards including SOAP/REST APIs; experience integrating disparate systems via Web services is essential
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment while managing multiple priorities effectively
