Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for business development in Anne Arundel County, MD, by identifying and pursuing opportunities in the market area
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality consulting services to clients in the site civil/land development sector
Develop and execute growth strategies to establish a dominant position in niche areas of the land development market
Set up and manage a new office, overseeing daily operations, staff supervision, and skill development
Present a clear vision for the practice and work collaboratively with a large engineering firm for support in staffing, financial expansion, and market presence
Drive the implementation of growth strategies with a focus on profitability and market leadership
Collaborate with the larger engineering firm to leverage resources for the success of the office
Qualification
Required
Professional Engineer with a strong and demonstrated track record of success in the field of land development
Proven experience in business development, client relations, and consulting within the civil engineering industry
Strong leadership skills with the ability to set and communicate a clear vision for the practice
Experience in setting up and managing new offices, overseeing daily operations, and leading teams
Knowledge of growth strategies, skill development, and effective client relationship management
Strategic thinking with a focus on achieving a dominant position in niche areas of the land development market
