They are seeking a Staff Scientist to manage hazardous building material inspections and industrial hygiene projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget while coordinating with project teams and clients.

Responsibilities
Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in/ lead pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management
Strong technical background in asbestos, lead, and industrial hygiene surveys and abatement planning/oversight
Performs site visits, field observations, and field data collection for assignments
Assists in the collection and analysis of data from laboratory reports (sampling data), reports, maps, drawings, tests and aerial photographs to evaluate, plan and conduct project assignments
Implements technical requirements to complete projects by interacting with other field staff to sample, test and collect data and/or document site activities
Interacts with senior staff for conducting investigative program(s) by offering alternative techniques to conduct site studies in field of expertise
May have limited client contact pertaining to specific projects/tasks
Tabulate electronic environmental and assessment data and assist with the development of corresponding reports
Coordinate work with supervisors and other environmental staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related science field and a minimum of 1-3 years' related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7 years' related experience
Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history
Preferred
40-hour HAZWOPER Certification
Pennsylvania Asbestos Inspector Certification or other Asbestos Certifications
Pennsylvania Lead Inspector or Risk Assessor Certification
