Responsibilities

Act as the internal expert on water and wastewater quality regulations, treatment processes, and reporting requirements, including NPDES, SDWA, EPA, and state-level programs
Partner with Product and Implementation teams to ensure platform features align with regulatory and operational needs
Support the Project Management Team in delivering compliance and operational solutions for water and wastewater systems
Participate in user research, product reviews, and roadmap planning to ensure the platform is relevant and user-friendly
Provide subject matter expertise during client onboarding, especially for complex monitoring and reporting workflows
Develop and review templates, rule libraries, workflows, and training materials for internal and external use
Track changes in environmental regulations and industry trends to inform platform development and service delivery
Assist Customer Success and Sales teams with expert input for RFPs, demos, and customer escalations

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental engineering, water resources, chemistry, public health, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in municipal water systems, including three or more years in a senior or advisory capacity
Strong knowledge of U.S. drinking water regulations (SDWA, EPA rules, etc.) and general understanding of state and local discharge permits
Experience working with lab methods and interpreting water quality data
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred

Familiarity with GIS, SCADA, and water quality modeling tools
Experience with PFAS, lead and copper rule compliance, and disinfection byproducts
Background in utilities, consulting, or regulatory agencies
Project management experience
PE license or relevant water operator certification
