Financial Planning and Analysis Intern
Computer Modelling Group is a global software and consulting company specializing in simulation technology for the energy industry. The FP&A intern will assist in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization, while collaborating with multiple departments and gaining exposure to senior leaders.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting, forecasting, annual budget, and long-term financial plans for the senior leadership team
Assist with quarterly and annual management reporting package for the board of directors
Assist with analyzing financial results and variances and prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams through preparation of monthly financial reports for department leaders
Improve and streamline financial models and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Work on special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem solving
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including in-depth knowledge of advanced formulas
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Ability to work independently as well as part of the team
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Exceptional time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
Preferred
Prior experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, and Hubspot a plus, but not required
