New Grad, Entry LevelSundt Construction is a 100% employee-owned contractor focused on building long-term prosperity for clients and communities. The Cost Engineer will support the preconstruction effort, engaging in estimating tasks, project planning, and administrative support for projects.

Responsibilities
Assists in buyout phase as needed
Distributes project documents
Maintains/updates estimating databases (e.g. cost, subcontractors, etc.)
Performs quantity surveys
Provides administrative support for Preconstruction Department and projects
Solicits subcontractor pricing
Solicits/develops pricing for hard bid and alternate delivery method projects
Qualification
Required
Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
Preferred
Candidates with estimating experience or those who have completed internships during their educational career may be given preference over candidates with no experience
Preferred candidates will have obtained their LEED accreditation, or express willingness to obtain
