Responsibilities

Checks and accepts maintenance performed and completes all aircraft historical records processes in ACN and MCDS

Coordinates for government quality assurance acceptance of critical safety items

Conducts aircraft inventories, weight and balance activities, tracks defective work in the phase bay

Submits aircraft historical records for government review upon completion of maintenance

Conducts post-maintenance and end-of-shift tool inventories

Produces Maintenance Engineering Calls (MECs) for submission to a Logistical Assistance Representative (LAR) for repairs beyond the limits specified in the technical publications

Tracks life-limited components in aircraft historical records
