Responsibilities
Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for both new hires and existing sales representatives, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and customer relationship management
Design and build sales training content, materials, and interactive exercises tailored to meet the needs of the sales team
Implement various instructional methods, including role-playing, presentations, simulations, and e-learning modules, to deliver impactful training solutions
Collaborate with sales management and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop targeted initiatives aligned with business goals
Assess training success using metrics, surveys, and performance feedback; refine programs to enhance outcomes
Offer ongoing mentoring and guidance to sales representatives to help them achieve their objectives and improve their proficiency
Stay current on industry trends, sales methodologies, and best practices to keep training programs updated and competitive
Work with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment between training initiatives and business strategies
Oversee onboarding training for new employees to integrate them into the team quickly and effectively
Track and evaluate sales team performance, recommend improvements, and ensure continued professional growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Relevant work experience demonstrating equivalent skills may be considered in lieu of degree
Proven experience as a Sales Trainer with a track record of driving improved sales performance
Ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred
Advanced degree and/or training certification
Three+ (3) years' of training experience (in Sales, and/or Marketing) in the medical device field
Experience working with a Learning Management System
