Responsibilities
CREATE COMPELLING DOCUMENTATION across multiple formats that simplifies complex product functionality, resulting in enhanced user comprehension and reduced support inquiries
PARTNER WITH PRODUCT EXPERTS through regular meetings with product owners, managers, developers, and subject matter experts to foster collaboration that results in accurate, timely, and relevant documentation
LEVERAGE AI DOCUMENTATION TECHNOLOGIES to improve content creation efficiency and quality, keeping RF-SMART at the forefront of documentation innovation
CAPTURE AND CREATE GRAPHICS AND ILLUSTRATIONS that complement written content, providing visual clarity that enhances user understanding of complex processes
DEVELOP INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS that demonstrate key workflows and features, providing customers with visual learning options that accelerate product adoption
MAINTAIN CONTENT ACCURACY by systematically reviewing and updating existing documentation, articles, and FAQs to reflect product changes, ensuring customers always have reliable information
COLLABORATE WITH SALES AND MARKETING to create cohesive messaging across all customer touchpoints, strengthening RF-SMART's market presence
MANAGE PROJECT TIMELINES by adapting to shifting priorities, meeting documentation deadlines, and aligning deliverables with product release schedules to ensure timely information availability
Qualification
Required
Exceptional written communication skills with meticulous attention to grammar, punctuation, and syntax
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content
Experience using content management systems or authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, WordPress, Adobe, FreshDesk, or Confluence
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams to gather and validate information
Self-motivated work style with excellent time management and attention to detail
Basic HTML knowledge for content formatting and structure
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or related field
Two+ years professional writing experience in software or technology documentation
Experience creating video tutorials or other multimedia content
Familiarity with enterprise software, especially supply chain or warehouse management solutions
Knowledge of topic-based authoring methodologies and documentation best practices
