Responsibilities
Design, prototype, and test electrical systems for advanced sensing and communication hardware
Develop custom PCBs and power electronics for ruggedized, high-reliability applications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate optical and sensor components
Support schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard EDA tools (Altium, LTSpice, Hyperlynx)
Assist in selection and integration of power electronics systems (solar input, battery systems, regulators)
Aid in development of analog front-ends, including ADCs and signal conditioning circuits
Participate in design and testing of optical sensing assemblies (alignment and calibration)
Conduct lab testing, debugging, and hardware validation; maintain detailed documentation
Help transition designs from prototype to production-ready form
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in PCB design and testing (inc internships)
Familiarity with power systems, analog circuits, and EMI-sensitive designs
Preferred
Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers is a plus
