The Intern, Materials Specialist will be responsible for performing and documenting daily warehouse operations in a cGMP environment, including shipping and receiving, inventory control, and ensuring safety practices are followed.

Responsibilities
Performing daily GMP material receipts according to SOPs/WI and Materials Specifications
Prepare and ship various temperature-controlled shipments
Perform material picking, kitting and transfer into production utilizing aseptic techniques
Execute Warehouse inventory transactions within the company ERP system
Ability to safely operate all motorized equipment including forklift trucks, electric pallet jacks, lifts, and company vehicles
Always use PPE, when necessary, ensure proper safety practices are in use, and identify any safety risks
Qualification
Required
Capability to operate forklift and other powered equipment
Ability to use a computer and knowledge of some Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Participating in a relevant degree program (biotechnology, STEM major) or recently completed a biotechnology training program
This internship is a full-time (40 hours per week) and reporting on site, 5 days a week to 170 Middlesex Turnpike, Bedford, MA and will start in January 2026 and end on December 23, 2026
