Responsibilities
Conduct rigorous equity research on consumer/technology companies, including financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis
Leverage alternative data sources (e.g., web traffic, app usage, transaction data) to identify trends and validate investment theses
Monitor industry developments, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors impacting the sector
Prepare detailed investment recommendations and present findings to senior decision-makers
Collaborate closely with portfolio managers on idea generation and portfolio construction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
3-8 years of experience in buy-side equity research, ideally with exposure to consumer or tech sectors
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
Demonstrated ability to work with and interpret alternative data sets
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Preferred
Advanced degree or CFA designation
