Mid LevelSystem One is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to support turnkey conveyor control system projects. This role involves collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality control systems that meet customer specifications, while also supporting projects from design through startup.

Responsibilities
Gather and interpret customer requirements, design criteria, and functional specifications
Develop detailed electrical control system designs, including hardware, software, and configuration documentation
Produce AutoCAD drawings, PLC code, system plans, and operational data
Coordinate material purchasing for fabrication and installation
Review and oversee subcontractor work related to control design and field wiring
Assist in creating project schedules for the electrical scope of work
Collaborate with mechanical engineering to ensure full system compatibility
Travel to job sites for coordination meetings, installation support, debugging, startup, and standby
Support shop operations, equipment testing, and troubleshooting as needed
Maintain and archive project files, drawings, and software upon project completion
Uphold internal standards, documentation requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and professionalism
Perform additional duties as required to support successful project execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering or related discipline)
Strong ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and design documents
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, PLC programming, and industrial control systems
Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Comfortable working in industrial plant environments and complying with site safety protocols
Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
Valid driver's license and ability to pass jobsite-specific and international travel requirements
Must be able to obtain/maintain a U.S. Passport and pass required drug screenings
