Responsibilities

Work directly with business stakeholders to understand data governance needs

Document business governance processes and workflows

Define roles and responsibilities for data ownership and stewardship

Develop templates for governance processes, data quality checks, and stewardship activities

Create and maintain a business glossary, data dictionary, and metadata standards

Support the establishment of data classification and usage policies

Assist teams in adopting governance practices and tools

Facilitate workshops and training sessions on governance principles

Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to align governance with technical architecture

Track adoption of governance processes and identify areas for improvement

Provide recommendations for enhancing governance maturity

Required

Proven experience for at least 8 years in implementing data governance programs in collaboration with business teams

Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation)

Knowledge of telecom regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., FCC, ITU, GDPR, CCPA, and other industry-specific standards)

Experience in change management and driving adoption of governance practices
