Responsibilities

As a Lateral Partner Recruiting Specialist at Orrick, you will join a top-notch team that places an emphasis on innovation, teamwork and adapting to the evolving practices of competitive legal recruiting
As one of the primary recruiting contacts for partner candidates, you will be responsible for guiding candidates through the full recruiting lifecycle, from submission to integration, all the while providing a high-touch, white glove experience to internal and external stakeholders
You will work closely with the Sr. Manager of Growth & Integration and collaborate with the Chief Growth and Integration Officer to execute on Orrick’s top strategic recruiting priorities
It is expected that you will understand the following: Orrick's innovative vision and the Growth & Integration Team’s role in realizing that vision; the firm’s strategy; Orrick’s key sectors and practice groups; how to best represent Orrick to candidates and search firms; how to be an ambassador for Orrick; and how to identify the credentials that are predictors of successful Orrick partners

Required

Bachelor of Arts or Science or equivalent work experience preferred
Minimum of 5 years' experience in recruiting, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
Prior legal recruiting experience with lateral partner, associate and/or judicial clerkship recruiting is strongly preferred
Experience with Zoom, Teams and applicant tracking systems, such as iCIMS or LawCruit preferred
Extraordinary verbal and written communication and presentation skills are essential
Demonstrated organization and time-management skills
The ability to be innovative and operate in an enthusiastic manner with a broad range of professionals
Demonstrated experience working both independently and harmoniously on teams
Adept at handling concurrent projects and effectively prioritizing tasks in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
Your flexibility and dedication to work beyond the position's written duties and assist in various areas of the firm's operations is essential
Willingness to work during irregular evening and weekend hours when required for time-sensitive, project-specific activities and/or during urgent situations
