Responsibilities
Helping to deliver high bandwidth over long distances
Performing analog validations on amplifiers that drive optical electronic devices and receivers
Validating silicon photonics, doing upper electronic measurements and supporting the coherent digital signal programming unit
Reviewing the data pulled overnight and writing a summary report before reviewing data with the manager
Setting up properly calibrated equipment for testing different parameters
Debugging data that did not perform as expected and iterating with designers until a solution is devised
Using precision network analyzers, lightweight component analyzers, probe stations and microwave transistor amplifiers to perform validations
Meeting as a team once a week and presenting work to colleagues and other teams
Qualification
Required
Have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field of study
Be familiar with Python and C
Have taken some specialized coursework in analog mixed signal engineering for communications
Understand the principles involved in analog mixed signal devices
Be extremely detail oriented and constantly willing to learn new things
Work well on a team and be ready to help and learn from others when needed
