The Formulation Scientist will contribute to product development and modification of existing products by utilizing analytical techniques and ensuring compliance with aerospace specifications.

Responsibilities

70% – R&D lab activity including formulation, product characteristic testing, and data analysis

20% – Operations support including working with production batches, writing procedures, troubleshooting, and QC failure testing

10% – Supporting QC including writing test sheets, procedures, work instructions, testing processes, and working with SAP to enter data and quality requirements for batches

Modify existing products to meet aerospace specifications

Follow Design and Development processes

Provide analysis of data and apply statistical data analysis (DOE)

Communicate project progress to Technical Manager

Use analytical techniques for characterization of raw materials
