Accounts Payable Administrator

The Accounts Payable Administrator will provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the Accounting Department by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are recorded efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

Review and verify invoices and check requests
Sort, code, and match invoices
Enter and upload invoices into system
Reconcile and process payment for company’s credit cards
Track expenses and process expense reports
Prepare electronic transfers and payments for supervisor submission
Prepare and perform bi-weekly check runs
Reconcile accounts payable transactions
Prepare various AP related analysis
Track monthly and budgeted expenses
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
Assist with month end closing
Provide supporting documentation for audits
Process deposits

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
1-3+ years' experience in accounting
Proficiency and aptitude for general accounting software programs, including Microsoft Office, Sage/Timberline, Office Connector and Onesite

Attention to detail and accuracy
Judgment
Communication skills
Information management skills
Ability to meet deadlines
