Responsibilities

Coordinate and lead activities for externally funded public health grants and initiatives
Develop, implement, and adapt strategies to meet grant objectives and deliverables within required timelines and budgets
Support the Principal Investigator (PI) and project teams in managing multiple, concurrent projects across varying scopes and timelines
Expand and sustain community-based health programs that address access to care, prevention, and chronic disease management
Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare systems, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and community stakeholders to enhance program impact
Establish and facilitate community advisory boards to guide program planning, implementation, and evaluation
Develop and implement evaluation plans aligned with grant goals and community needs
Collect and manage quantitative and qualitative data to inform program improvement and reporting
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), outcomes, and impact measures
Prepare detailed evaluation reports and summaries for internal and external audiences
Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with university and IRB requirements
Develop and deliver training sessions and educational materials for healthcare providers and community partners
Contribute to scholarly dissemination activities, including manuscripts, conference presentations, and technical reports
Draft communication materials highlighting program outcomes and community impact
Assist in identifying new funding opportunities and preparing grant proposals to sustain and expand public health initiatives
Assist with budget development, project timelines, and resource planning
Contribute to a collaborative, adaptive, and learning-oriented work environment, supporting emerging needs across programs and grants

Required

Master's degree in public health or a related field
A minimum of one (1) year of progressively effective experience in program or project management/coordination
Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
All qualifications must be met by the time of employment
Demonstrated program management/coordination experience with exceptional organizational and time management skills
Group facilitation, mediation and conflict resolution skills; established skillset in organizing resources and establishing priorities
Strong ability to multi-task multiple projects at the same time
Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques and tools
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to present information and respond to questions from groups or individuals
Demonstrated ability to create and produce clear, concise paper and electronic documents
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and to coordinate participation of team members from various backgrounds
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Experience in higher education or public sector required
Strong leadership/managerial skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred

Undergraduate and/or graduate student advising experience is preferred
