Responsibilities

Process full cycle bi-weekly, off-cycle, and special run payroll, including verification of wage, tax, and deduction accuracy

Maintain and update payroll systems with employee data (e.g., taxes, direct deposit)

Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding paychecks and deductions

Prepare payroll reports for management, audits, finance, and compliance purposes

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations

Perform benefit deduction audits in conjunction with payroll processing

Assist with benefits administration

Maintain confidential records, including payroll and benefit audit documentation
