Responsibilities
Provide guidance and direction to office staff and field crew(s)
Provide team building skills within the technical survey staff
Oversee survey aspects of civil engineering projects and/or direct preparation of all types of survey maps
Train office and field staff in land surveying procedures
Monitor project schedules, budgets & deliverables
Manage and coordinate projects with multiple team members
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 5 years of experience in all aspects of land surveying, transportation project management is required
A successful track record of building client relationships in the surveying and related mapping industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
Able to work out of town if required, flexible with work area
Preferred
Registered Professional Land Surveyor in FL or ability to obtain in one year preferred
AAS or BS Degree in Surveying is preferred
Experienced in all aspects of transportation surveying (FDOT a plus)
Knowledge of Microstation and Geopak w/FDOT software. OpenRoads Designer experience a plus
