Responsibilities
Complete legal assignments for supervising attorneys and members of the Kontoor Legal Department
Drafting and prepare legal documents, memorandum, and correspondence
Conduct legal research, data analysis
Assist with projects related to corporate recordkeeping and corporate compliance
Attend and observe meetings with both Kontoor legal and business team members
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited law school, entering your second or third year, and able to receive a paid internship
Have previously demonstrated leadership skills through school, extracurricular activities and/or community involvement
Exceptional at taking on challenges and using your particular set of skills to create solutions
A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
Excellent issue spotting and problem-solving skills
Be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Follows through with all tasks, assignments, and job duties in a timely manner
Good time management and organizational skills
Pursing a Juris Doctor degree
Must be local or willing to relocate to Greensboro, NC
