Responsibilities
Assist with the annual budget, quarterly re-forecasts, and multi-year financial plan, partnering with the CFO, CEO, and CPO
Build and maintain 3-statement financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to support scenario planning, capital allocation, and strategic decision-making
Analyze financial performance versus budget/forecast and prior periods; identify key drivers and provide clear, concise commentary and recommendations
Support cash flow forecasting, covenant and lender reporting, and other forward-looking analyses as needed
Assist in the preparation of monthly management reporting packages, including P&L, cash flow, and key performance indicators for senior leadership
Develop and refine dashboards and recurring reports focused on utilization, realization, project margins, backlog/pipeline, and SG&A efficiency
Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting in support of executive and board-level presentations
Serve as a strategic thought partner to practice leaders and operations, providing financial insight on pricing, staffing, and new service offerings
Partner with People/HR on headcount and compensation planning, including FTE vs. contractor mix, hiring plans, and incentive structure modeling
Help translate business strategy into measurable financial targets and track performance against those targets
Support acquisition modeling, including revenue and margin forecasting, synergy analyses, integration costs, and post-close performance tracking
Partner with finance, operations, and IT to integrate acquired entities into Beckway’s financial processes, reporting cadence, and systems (including NetSuite)
Contribute to the development of an integration playbook and standard templates to drive consistency and speed in future transactions
Act as a key finance stakeholder for NetSuite ERP, helping optimize the chart of accounts, project structure, and reporting views for FP&A and management
Leverage NetSuite and related tools to design standard and ad hoc reports; support ongoing improvements in data quality and reporting automation
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, including the development of standard templates and models
Establish and document FP&A processes, calendars, and templates to support a scalable finance function as Beckway grows
Model a high-ownership, collaborative, and continuous-improvement mindset within the finance team and across the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
6+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including meaningful time in a professional services environment (consulting, advisory, agency, or similar)
Demonstrated experience leading budgeting and forecasting processes and building 3-statement financial models in Excel
Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, ideally in a project-based or professional services context (e.g., SuiteProjects, advanced revenue recognition, or similar modules)
Experience supporting integrations (M&A, system implementations, or process integration) in a growth-oriented environment
Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, scenario and sensitivity analysis; comfort working with large data sets)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and presenting management-level reporting
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
High integrity and strong sense of ownership, with a focus on delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful work product
Collaborative partner who builds strong relationships across finance, operations, and client-facing teams
