Responsibilities

Assess internal business needs and objectives for strategic partnerships and alignment on commodity management strategies, including development of new technologies (eg IR&D)

Utilize strong business experience and acumen to develop a strategic approach with the supplier and structure MOA/Agreements that meet objectives and mitigate risks

Aggregate program demands and forecasts to assist in long-term schedule and price agreements, primarily for commercial commodities such as chemicals and composite materials

Provide forecasts to suppliers on periodic and recurring basis

Solicit suppliers, review proposals, and develop agreement structures that to facilitate proactive creation/award of purchase orders

Review and maintain Agreements, and renew to avoid gaps in ability to support future acquisitions

Travel 25% to USG/Customer locations
