Licensing Analyst
Tesla is seeking a Licensing Analyst to oversee licensing needs for North America Sales, Service, and Delivery locations. The role focuses on ensuring registration and compliance with local, state, and federal laws across the US and Canada, requiring strong analytical skills and effective project management.

Responsibilities
Support new markets with license applications and renewals
Create, execute, and update licensing procedures across relevant jurisdictions
Review license applications, updates, and renewals for completeness and accuracy prior to submission
Manage a knowledge base capturing procedures for licensing, registration, and reporting
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address licensing for new and existing locations
Maintain relationships with local and state regulatory and compliance agencies
Identify gaps in compliance processes, recommend improvements, and develop systems to track deadlines and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
2+ years of work experience in a licensing compliance-related field
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively while managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong diligence, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse groups
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred
Preferred experience with state-based licensing procedures and compliance programs such as CA DMV and CA BAR
