Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives

Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of critical strategic initiatives from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with overall company goals
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and success metrics
Drive and support financial planning ensuring rigorous budget adherence
Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
Drive cross-functional collaboration, coordinating efforts across departments such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to achieve shared objectives
Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and internal data analysis to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decision-making
Develop compelling business cases, financial models, and presentations to secure buy-in from senior leadership and stakeholders
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership on emerging trends, potential disruptions, and areas for innovation
Serve as a primary point of contact for strategic initiatives, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on initiative progress, challenges, and outcomes
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to align teams, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus
Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process optimization within strategic initiatives and across the organization using AI/ML, hyper automation toolsets
Implement best practices in project management, change management, and continuous improvement
Establish frameworks and tools to track the impact and ROI of strategic initiatives focused on Operations technology transformation and cost optimization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
7+ years of progressive experience in strategy, management consulting, program management, or a similar strategic role within a relevant industry, e.g., technology, finance, healthcare company
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong aptitude for quantitative analysis and data-driven decision-making
Superior communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders
Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate teams, navigate ambiguity, and drive results in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Aha)
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate broad concepts into concrete action plans
Preferred
An MBA or Master's degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred
Engineering, AI, or fintech background
Ability to articulate complex items catering to various audiences
Familiarity with Data Management and Employment domain
