Responsibilities

Manage Inventory Plans for less complex strategic business units, review annual, monthly, weekly, and daily projections against actual results, monitor category markdown budget
Manage Third-Party Vendor Relationships, develop relationships and interface with vendor leadership personnel, review and analyze contract negotiations and contract management
Lead and Manage the Execution of Multiple Business Plans and Projects, identify customer and operational needs, develop and communicate business plans and priorities, remove barriers and obstacles that impact performance
Develop, Prioritize, and Execute Key Business Strategies, manage cross-functional initiatives that impact store and corporate processes, develop merchandising programs and initiatives, customer and company communications, and associate training content
Provide Overall Direction, analyze business objectives and customer needs, develop, communicate, build support for, and implement business strategies, plans, and practices
Reviewing and approving markdown proposals, developing prioritized markdown recommendations for senior management when markdowns exceed budget, align category inventory and turn plans
Ensuring that budgets and financial commitments are met, ensure that operational expenses are properly managed
Making recommendations for system support developments, recommending merchandise priorities for store operations, translating merchandise strategies for assigned departments into executable programs for store operations
Developing and implementing strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce, diagnose capability gaps, recruit, select, and develop talent, support mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning
Cultivating an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics, integrate these values into all programs and practices, develop consequences for violations or non-compliance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Merchandising, or related field
5 years' experience in business management, merchandising, or related area OR 7 years' experience in business management, merchandising, or related area
1 year's supervisory experience

Six Sigma Black Belt - Certification
Six Sigma Green Belt - Certification
