Vice President of Sales, Logistics Services

The Vice President of Sales, Logistics Services will set the strategic direction for the logistics services sales channel, achieving revenue and sales objectives while building a high-performing business development team. Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive logistics services (including commercial moving, warehousing, transportation, logistics services) business development strategy aligned with Ace and ARCA’s objectives to achieve revenue and market share growth and diversification
Define and implement tactical plans to achieve sales objectives for the logistics services channel in targeted industries, including healthcare, and hospitality
Build and manage a high-performing logistics services business development team, including recruiting, hiring, training, mentoring and coaching members of the logistics sales team
Build and grow a book of logistics services business, leveraging company resources and existing network to drive sustained growth
Monitor logistics services sales performance reports and key performance indicators to ensure appropriate resource allocation and effectiveness of logistics services sales strategy, adapting as required to achieve sales objectives
Provide strategic oversight in the development of responses to RFPS, ensuring Ace & ARCA’s value propositions are effectively communicated
Understand logistics services and commercial moving market landscape and trends, ensuring Ace & ARCA’s service offerings are relevant and priced appropriately
Set the marketing strategy and priorities for Ace and ARCA, leveraging the external marketing consultant for strategy execution
Provide regular reports to the senior leadership team highlighting key performance metrics and progress toward logistics services revenue growth goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or sales management
10+ years sales management experience building, training, and nurturing teams
Results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales objectives
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Excellent analytical skills, including data and financial analysis to support effective decision-making and prioritization
Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills
Willingness to travel as required to establish and maintain business relationships
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook, and CRM systems such as Hubspot
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with the ability to create formula, charts, graphs, and pivot tables
Ability to learn and function as necessary with proprietary ERP system
Ability to effectively utilize customer relationship management systems, preferably HubSpot

Deep industry knowledge and an extensive network of industry contacts strongly preferred
