SPECIAL EVENTS SPECIALIST

NEOGOV is seeking a Special Events Specialist to assist in the coordination and support for the Town’s special events and recreation programming. The role involves on-site coordination of event logistics, communication with various stakeholders, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure successful event operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with the on-site coordination of event logistics, programming, decoration installation, and promotions
Communicate with participants, exhibitors, staff, vendors, contractors, and the public to ensure successful event operations
Transport and install event-specific equipment; assist service providers as needed. Assist in directing technicians, contractors, and work crews for event setup and breakdown
Support administrative tasks including document and correspondence creation, spreadsheets, data entry, and record keeping
Provide excellent customer service and assist with inquiries from the public. Ensure all events are carried out in a safe, organized, and professional manner
Perform related duties as assigned
