Senior Vice President, Strategy

The Senior Vice President, Strategy will lead growth, strategic planning, and market positioning efforts, ensuring alignment of people, process, product, strategy, and marketing to drive sustainable business performance and deepen member relationships.

Responsibilities
Facilitate development and execution of organization-wide strategic plans, ensuring alignment with company vision, financial targets, and market opportunities. Collaborate across business units to identify growth drivers and operational synergies
Oversee brand positioning and marketing strategy. Lead efforts to strengthen market presence and elevate our value proposition across target segments
Use market insights, data analytics, and member feedback to inform product innovation and service delivery. Champion initiatives that improve member acquisition, loyalty, and lifetime value
Lead enterprise-wide project execution by establishing strong project governance and ensuring strategic initiatives are delivered effectively through cross-functional collaboration
Drive a culture of operational excellence by implementing continuous improvement practices to streamline and automate operations across the organization that delivers on legendary service
Lead the foundation by supporting the wellbeing of the Fire Family. Strengthen partnerships & outreach, and oversee grantmaking, fundraising, budgeting, and program impact. Continue the evolution of the charitable arm of the credit union
Regularly meeting with each team member to coach and mentor to ensure alignment around FFCU’s mission, vision, and values
Providing team members with training, tools, and resources to successfully perform their jobs
Holding teams accountable for meeting all service level agreements, ensuring the team’s work is accurate/efficient, and providing coaching, feedback, or training as needed
Providing and ensuring development opportunities are available for team members as part of their overall career path with the Credit Union
Leading change by identifying opportunities that consistently raise the bar and improve service levels
Assisting the Credit Union with executing the business plan of the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 10 years of experience at a financial institution
Minimum 3 years of experience in an executive or C-suite level role
Proven experience in senior leadership within financial services, with a strong track record in strategy, marketing, or growth roles
Demonstrated ability to lead people and influence culture across complex organizations
Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and a member-centric mindset
High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust, navigate complex interpersonal dynamics, and lead with empathy
Exceptional communicator with the ability to simplify complexity and align diverse stakeholders
