Responsibilities

Support construction inspection for roadway, bridge, and utility projects

Perform field measurements, material sampling, and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications

Assist engineers with plan reviews, contractor submittals, and project documentation

Learn CDM Smith’s standards and best practices for quality assurance and project delivery

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree

An appropriate and valid driver's license is required

Preferred

Strong interest in transportation and construction engineering

Ability to work outdoors and adapt to field conditions

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with CAD or inspection software is a plus
