Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Core Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
Build and enhance payment processing systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security
Develop RESTful APIs and backend services supporting high-transaction volumes
Integrate with messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka
Work with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases for distributed data storage
Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams
Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support
Adhere to enterprise standards, security controls, and SDLC best practices
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (Java 8+)
Proven experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
Solid experience working with Kafka (producers, consumers, event-driven systems)
Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
Strong understanding of REST APIs, multithreading, and distributed systems
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
Background in Payments, Banking, or Financial Services is strongly preferred
Experience with enterprise payment systems (ACH, RTP, wire, card payments, etc.)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps collaboration
Prior experience working with large financial institutions
