Responsibilities
Perform tasks associated with in vitro and in vivo metabolite identification (metID) studies
Independently develop, implement, and troubleshoot analytical methods for drug metabolite analysis
Conduct metabolic profiling and collect MS/MS data for metabolite structure determination
Research scientific issues using literature and other resources
Collaborate with senior staff to interpret MS/MS data and assign metabolite structures
Compile, analyze, and prepare data; write reports; and manage study flow
Ensure quality and timely delivery of project deliverables to clients
Provide training and guidance to junior staff and evaluate new technologies or techniques
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS and metabolite identification techniques
Strong understanding of analytical method development and troubleshooting
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures
Proficiency in LC-MS/MS data interpretation and metabolite structure assignment
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills for client interaction and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred
Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
